From The LAB

From The Lab is a creative opportunity for area high school and first year college musicians, deejays, producers and songwriters to create and record original music. Participants will learn recording and production techniques from national producers/artists/deejays, how to market their music and network with other young artists in the St. Louis area. They will have the opportunity to record original works at professional recording studios and receive helpful information on how to be an artistic entrepreneur.

From The LAB is designed to give its participants the opportunity to study and explore the richness of their inner-potential through a three-step formula of EXPOSING, EXPERIENCING and EXECUTING. It is the intentions of this program to inform and educate participants about songwriting, recording and entrepreneurship in the arts through creative sessions, live studio recordings, performance and networking opportunities.

From The Lab is a (5) five week program that will meet on Sunday afternoons from 1pm to 3pm starting in the fall at:

SmithLee Productions 7420 Manchester Rd, St. Louis, MO 63143

Participants are responsible for their own transportation. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided. This program is free for all participants that are selected.
